Designed by famed golf architect William P. Bell, the Brookside Golf Club boasts a 75 year golf tradition. The 36-hole complex is the oldest golf course in Los Angeles County. Regularly rated one of the top 15 golf courses in California, Brookside served as home to the Los Angeles Open in 1968, which was won by Billy Casper. It has also hosted the National Publinx Championship. Owned by the city of Pasadena, Brookside Golf Club features two 18-hole tracks: the C.W. Koiner Course, a par 72 measuring 7,228 yards, and the E.O. Nay Course, a par 70 measuring 6,046 yards. To hone your game, the facilities also include: the John Wells Pro Shop, two practice putting greens, a chipping area, practice bunker and a driving range providing everything you need for an exceptional golf experience. A note from SUDAN EDUCATION FOUNDATION: FUND-RAISING FOR THE COMMUNITY This auction is being brought to you by the non-profit organization, Alvarado Damas De Servicio. This auxiliary club is a non-profit, philanthropic, service organization which has raised money to support health education and patient care projects since its founding in 1972. The auxiliary's fund raising efforts are used to supplement Alvarado Hospital's outpatient therapies with uniquely designed programs known as P.A.L.S (Programs for Active Living and Support). PALS refers to a group of post-treatment programs which help benefit individuals with physical disabilities and senior citizens. These include: the SoCal Rehab Golf Program, Stroke Peer Visitor Program, Comebackers Neuro Club, Alvarado Balance Club (ABC), Aphasia Group, Senior Fitness Class, and SDRI’s Art for All program!
